Ridge Forrester had an epiphany recently on The Bold and the Beautiful that is making his mother Stephanie Forrester (circa 1988) a very happy woman. He’s realized that Brooke Logan Forrester has feelings for other men, specifically, Deacon Sharpe, and he’s thrown in the towel on his beloved Logan.
The Bold and the Beautiful Ba-Bye Brooke
But has Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) made a hasty decision? He’s no saint himself and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has forgiven him many times for his wandering eye. (Hi, Shauna!) Soap Hub asked B&B fans if they think Ridge has given up too quickly on his wife.
Take The “L” Out Of Lover
And it’s over! The majority of you, about 39%, say that Ridge made the right call as Brooke broke his trust. It’s one thing to have a drink and lock lips with an ex on New Year’s Eve. But Brooke lied about it. If she’d just come clean with Ridge when he came home, he might have forgiven her.
The Bold and the Beautiful Breakups and Makeups
Many of you, about 33%, say that Ridge may have acted hastily but does it really matter as they’ll ultimately reunite anyway? Ridge and Brooke have found and lost love more than any other duo in B&B’s history. Their romance is, after all, unforgettable.
Simmer Down, Ridge
The rest of you, about 28%, say that Ridge overreacted. Sure, Brooke rushed to Deacon’s side when she came into the supply room during Ridge and Deacon’s fight, but he was the one on the ground. Had Deacon gotten the upper hand just when Brooke walked in, she likely would have rushed to Ridge’s side.
Ridge is no saint. He got drunk and fake-married Shauna in Las Vegas. He pretended to be interested in Brooke when she was involved with Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon). Ridge should know that not everybody’s perfect and realize Brooke truly does love him.
