Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of Our Lives (Days), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)? Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas.
Soap Opera Casting For The Week of October 18, 2021
Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.
General Hospital
The long-missing Charlotte Cassadine will soon be back on screen at General Hospital. Scarlett Fernandez, who portrays Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) daughter, is back on set taping scenes. The 12-year-old actress, who last aired in March, had to be written out of soap opera storyline after a biking accident left her with two broken arms, a cut chin, and few broken teeth. She’ll likely begin airing next month.
The Bold and the Beautiful
Good news for fans of The Bold and the Beautiful’s Pam and Charlie. Alley Mills and Dick Christie will finally resurface as the quirky twosome on Friday, October 22.
The Young and the Restless
There’s good news for The Young and the Restless’ “Skyle” fans, too. The drama and aftermath of the Tuscany nuptials of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) mean more air time for Hunter King and Michael Mealor. The popular pair will continue their guest appearances as Summer Newman Abbott and Kyle Abbott, this week. Plus, Kellen Enriquez is also back as young Harrison, Ashland’s stepson, and Kyle’s biological son.
Days of our Lives
Over at Days of our Lives, a new member of the Vitali crime family is set to surface. Richard Stevens is playing Carmine. The character has a past with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) from his mob days. He’ll share scenes with Barash and James Reynolds’ Abe Carver.
Tina Huang is back as district attorney Melinda Trask on Monday, October 18. She’ll share scenes with John Aniston when Victor Kiriakis approaches Melinda to negotiate Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) release from jail.
It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
