Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Soap Opera Casting For The Week Of March 07, 2022
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.
The Bold and the Beautiful
The Bold and the Beautiful will welcome back two yesteryear stars later this month. Winsor Harmon and Jack Wagner are set to resurrect their roles as Thorne Forrester and Nick Marone, respectively, on a special episode celebrating the show’s 35th anniversary airing on Thursday, March 24.
Shireen Crutchfield is back on the scene as Sequoyah. The Forrester model, who’s been dating Zende (Delon de Metz), appears on the soap opera on Monday, March 7.
Days of our Lives
Over at Days of our Lives, Chandler Massey and Zach Tinker return as Will Horton and Sonny Kiriakis on Thursday, March 10. The characters will be involved in Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) and Craig Wesley’s (Kevin Spirtas) storyline.
Also heading back to the soap is Greg Vaughan as Eric Brady. The character last aired in December 2021, when he performed Marlena’s exorcism.

George DelHoyo begins another run as Orpheus beginning Tuesday, March 8. The Statesville inmate will turn up in prison scenes with James Read’s Clyde.
Meanwhile, Remington Hoffman pops back in as Li Shin on Monday, March 7 for a DiMera Enterprises board meeting, and Chris Kalhoon resurfaces on the soap opera as DiMera pilot, Ned, on Monday, March 7.
General Hospital
Sean Blakemore’s latest stint on General Hospital is about to wrap. The actor, who returned as TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) biological father, Shawn Butler, in 2021 has confirmed that he’s leaving the soap opera – a move that was his choice based on other obligations. Look for Shawn to be relocating for business purposes.
The Young and the Restless
Kelsey Wang joins The Young and the Restless cast as Allie on Thursday, March 10. The character is a young professional who catches the eye of one of the show’s bachelors. General Hospital fans may remember the actress as Dawn of Day cult member Daisy, a role she played from 2018 to 2020.
