Henry Joseph Samiri, who plays Douglas on The Bold and the Beautiful, is one busy young actor! Not only was he recently back at B&B shooting scenes, but he also jetted 3,000 miles across the country to work on a project that’s filming in the Big Apple.
Henry Joseph Samiri Flies to New York City
“Back at work where it all started!! Love my B&B family,” read a post on Henry Joseph Samiri’s official Instagram account. Next, the actor was on a plane traveling to New York City to shoot another project. He posted on Instagram a series of photos of him checking out some New York tourist spots including Radio City Music Hall (a former home of the Daytime Emmys) and the Empire State Building. You can see the posts below.
“Thank you NYC for being such a wonderful place to film. Can’t wait to be back!” Samiri enthused, “#nyc #newyork #citylife #actorlife #kidactor #travelforwork #filmmaking #thebigapple.” No official word on what he was shooting there however, Soap Hub recently reported that the actor had joined the cast of a pilot for Freeform currently titled The Untitled Julie Durk Project.
The Series He Was Likely Shooting
The pilot/one-hour drama is being described as Hitchcockian in nature and tells the story of a young woman named Elena (played by Andrea Londo), who is thrown into a drama that’s filled with deadly secrets and old money. Samiri plays Jasper, a young boy who is still sad over the recent death of his mother.
The Immortal Line “Baby Beth Is Alive”
Henry Joseph Samiri should have no trouble connecting to Jasper as it appears he shares similarities with Douglas. As B&B fans recall, Douglas returned to Los Angeles with his father Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) following the death of Caroline (Linsey Godfrey). Thomas was determined to make Hope (Annika Noelle) his wife but Douglas thwarted his father’s scheme by sharing the news that Hope’s daughter, baby Beth, was alive. The news brought great joy and reunited Hope and Liam (Scott Clifton), Beth’s parents.
