Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) returned to the cliff house to sulk to his fidgety first family. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) immediately jumped on him. You better not go back to Brooke!
B&B Recap: The Sad Truth
Things exploded when Ridge told the story of Il Giardino and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) running to Deacon’s defense. It was bad enough having her kiss Deacon, but to watch her sticking up with the guy was too much. Ridge admitted he’s had enough. He ended his marriage. He had to.
The family made no secret of their stance on Brooke and the whole charade. Steffy was thankful he finally saw the light and came to them — where he belonged — to people who would never let him down.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: More And More Tears
As for Brooke, she went home for a whole new pity party. She was comforted by a shocked Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). How could Ridge leave her? Well, guys, she smooched Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and tried to cover it up.
Brooke was a puddle of tears as she went through her sob break-up story. She feared she lost her soulmate forever. She decided to fight for her marriage and go track down her man. She grabbed her phone and started calling, but Thomas made sure Ridge didn’t see his cell ringing.
