B&B Alum Karla Mosley Shares The Wonder of Movies With Her Daughter

For those that have been following Karla Mosley’s social media this week, you know the former Bold and the Beautiful’s Maya Avant is in France with her family. While there, Mosley shared a magical moment with her daughter.

Karla Mosley Travels to France With Family

The actress shared the details of one of her stops, taking in a movie with daughter Aurora. “First movie in a theater yesterday!” Mosley posted on Instagram Thursday. “We went during a super off time and were there with only 2 other families. Thankfully it felt super safe and no one minded Aurora’s many questions. When the lights went out before the film she tentatively asked, ‘What’s happening, mom?’ The magic of a dark theater…nothing beats it!”

This was Aurora’s first movie theater experience and the chosen film was Clifford, based on the popular books and cartoon of the oversized red dog. Karla Mosley included a photo of her daughter, clearly mesmerized by the screen. And both enjoyed the film—even though it was in French naturally given their travels, with mom translating to her child. As any parent knows, seeing a kid’s eyes widen, and the joy of watching them see characters they know come to life is a thrill.

The actress particularly liked the dubbing of David Alan Grier’s character, calling it akin to a French Santa Claus, though she admitted seeing Rosie Perez with a French accent coming out of her mouth was somewhat disorienting, though “her dimples translate immensely well!”

Based on Mosley’s hashtags, one of Aurora’s favorite parts was the candy! While it wasn’t too long ago that Karla Mosley was on-screen subbing for Mishael Morgan as Amanda Sinclair on The Young and the Restless, many B&B fans are still wishing that Maya comes back to town. Of course, the actress being in France probably means that’s not happening anytime soon but here’s hoping she’ll make a return visit in 2022.
