The Bold and the Beautiful: A Critic’s Week In Review
The Bold and the Beautiful has its very own Cassandra in Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). No matter how many times this little fount of knowledge attempts to impart a truism, he will always be belittled and dismissed. It’s irritating to watch, especially since it makes this soap’s characters, who are generally dim bulbs on the best of days, look particularly stupid.

* At what point does Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) just throw in the towel?
* Did it do your heart good to see Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) or were you like me, and his brief appearance only served to remind you of all the other characters (Eric, Quinn, Katie, Donna, Justin) that B&B doesn’t seem to have time and/or storylines for?

* Given the many – MANY – times The Bold and the Beautiful flashbacked to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) switching the labels on the regular and non-alcoholic champagne bottles, do you now feel capable of doing likewise?
* On Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Brook Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) fought the temptation to drink, and wound up watering her Ficus (or some such houseplant) with what vodka remained from her well-stocked bar. Come Wednesday, there sat another, nearly full bottle of vodka. Are we to believe that a) the household has a never-ending supply of the stuff or b) Brooke went out and purchased herself another bottle or c) this was a major continuity gaffe that went by unnoticed?
* Shouldn’t Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), you know, give Brooke a warning that Sheila really seems to be gunning for her?
