Key Takeaways
- BabyGate fallout intensifies as Hayley, Bill, Dani, and Andre clash over loyalty and motives.
- The plasma ring investigation turns violent when Grayson is attacked, raising the stakes.
- Martin pushes toward higher office despite serious family concerns and growing pressure.
Next Week on Beyond the Gates: April 20-24, 2026
BabyGate Continues

If you thought Hayley (Marquita Goings) wasn’t going to call out Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) about BabyGate, think again. “After being married for over a year now…that you could call Dani ‘baby’? Hayley said as she ranted at Bill.
Hayley may want her husband dead. What she doesn’t want is for Bill to suddenly reunite with Dani (Karla Mosley). Hayley would lose out on that $10 millon life insurance policy payout if or when she follows through on her plans to kill Bill.

Meanwhile, at Dani and Andre’s abode, Dani presses her husband for bringing up babygate with Bill at the club. “Bill’s theory is that you started babygate because you’re insecure about our marriage.” Andre (Sean Freeman) isn’t about to admit that. But all he did was lay down some boundaries. Boundaries that Bill will never adhere to.
The Plasma Ring Investigation Turns Dangerous
After getting roughed up, Jacob (Jibre Hordges) resumed his meetings with Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) in the elevator rather than the stairwell. Hopefully, nobody he knows will catch him. Next week, he catches up to Grayson again. Although the lab tech would rather continue to stonewall him.
“Why the hell have you been ignoring my calls?” Jacob demanded. But there’s no time to stick around for Grayson’s answer. Next thing we know, Jacob and his contact, Ren (Donny Carrington), the one who roughed him up, are in one of the warehouses. “I told you there was a price for your mess. Just didn’t tell you who had to pay.”
This must be Ren alluding to the fact that he or his crew dealt with Grayson. Their method? A knife. And Grayson’s sitting on the floor, bleeding and in pain. Will he be okay?
Martin Can’t Curb His Political Aspirations

Martin (Brandon Claybon) sits down with his mother and tells her all about his goals and dreams. And he asks Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) a question that he doesn’t think is loaded. But his mom clearly does. “After the campaign, do I ease up or take on something bigger?” Martin innocently asks. And Nicole isn’t having it. “This could blow up your world. What are you doing, Martin?”
The family went through this when Martin considered running for president. There are bodies buried that the Duprees don’t want people to know about. Subsequently, he backed off from the presidential campaign. Now he is thinking about running for the Senate.
Bill already tried to get Martin to change his mind. It was a tense conversation. What will it take for the congressman to realize that a higher office may not be in the cards for him?
