Jacob has been worried that Smitty’s investigation could negatively impact his father, Elon (Malachi Malik), who is the police chief. Will Jacob and Smitty continue to work together? Or will Jacob distance himself from this investigation? The BTG spoilers suggest that Jacob will end up in a difficult situation, which could involve arresting his own father.
