Monday 10/26 (#397)
Hayley (Marquita Goings) reacted to an upsetting surprise and turned to Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) for help. She was pregnant and was mad about it. But Randy helped her realize this could be the opportunity of a lifetime. Jacob (Jibre Hordges) struggled with balancing work and family. He talked to Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) about his marriage and the case that has been taking up all of his time. Bill tried to get his son-in-law to keep an open mind about Smitty (Mike Manning). Meanwhile, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) turned to Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) to see if he could help her prove Smitty’s innocence. Ashley (Jen Jacob) didn’t take it too well. Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) was upset with Joey when he made his sister uncomfortable during their dinner. He only cooked an appetizer, and Heather (Ashley Jones) left. Later, Heather ventured to the club where she introduced herself to Bill and Jacob, who thought something was off about her. Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) had a difference of opinion after he thought he found the perfect Fairmont Crest house to live in. Shanice disagreed, telling him that she wanted a house that was a home. Not some oversized mansion that had too many bedrooms and bathrooms. But she agreed to at least see the house he had in mind for them.
Tuesday 10/27 (#398)
At the country club, Dani (Karla Mosley) confronted Hayley about sticking around Fairmont Crest. The two had words for each other, but Dani backed down as soon as Anita (Tamara Tunie, who won big at the 2026 Daytime Emmys) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) arrived. Vernon, however, reminded Hayley that Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) was always around to pay a visit. He told her to finish her meal quickly and go. Ted and Shanice ventured out with Vanessa to look for houses. They settled on one, but not the house that Ted originally pitched to Shanice. It made both happy. But they won’t be able to move in until after Christmas. Andre (Sean Freeman) and Martin (Brandon Claybon) met up at Uptown where they talked about Martin’s fears for his future. And he questioned his own. They also talked about Ted’s bachelor party. Vernon and Anita were concerned over Dani’s marriage. But she assured them all was good. Then Bill stopped by their table after he had words with Hayley. Bill and Dani chatted privately. He apologized for the Kalista Kilroy (Kandi Burruss)/interview debacle. She accepted, but she also contributed her two cents. She told Bill that she would be looking forward from here on out, which was Andre. Not the past. Anita admitted to Vernon that she was ready to get back into the studio. Martin joined Anita, Vernon, and Dani at the club. Vernon told his grandson he would help him get elected by offering his presence.
Wednesday 10/28 (#399)
Martin and Vernon talked further about the election, and Vernon helping boost Martin’s re-election chances. Naomi and Jacob hit a snag in their relationship and opened up about it to other people. Jacob vented to Izaiah (Lami) while Naomi unloaded on Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Kat (Colby Nixon). Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) offered to throw an anniversary party for Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Izaiah. Eva rejected her mother’s offer. Anita revealed big news to Tracy (Maria Howell) and Sharon (Bonita Brisker). She told them that she was ready to step into the studio again. Tracy and Sharon wanted Anita to prove it. And her voice faltered. But it was just a prank. She and her fellow Articulettes belted out “Amazing Grace.” They were ready. Samantha (Najah Jackson) got vulnerable with Smitty. She was scared that he would go to jail and be missing from her life. She then turned to June (Jasmine Burke). Smitty potentially going to prison triggered her abandonment issues, and June helped her out with that. Naomi stopped by Smitty’s house to give him an update on the search for Max (Cris Ruiz). He may be in Mexico. Smitty was sick of sitting around doing nothing. So he told Naomi and then Martin that he would travel to Mexico to follow this lead. Naomi asked him to stay put because she sent a private eye to Mexico. Martin talked Smitty out of leaving.
Thursday 10/29 (#400)
Bill and Naomi got into it over Naomi’s quest to get access to the video that showed Smitty receiving the drugs responsible for Lia’s death. Bill offered to make some calls to expedite the process, and Naomi took offense. Martin prepared for the live-streamed fireside chat that he and Vernon were doing. Samantha said she didn’t want to go to the ChelseaKat launch party. She wanted to stay by Smitty’s side at home. He said that wasn’t necessary because he would attend the fireside chat with Martin. At the country club, Anastasia (Timeca Seretti) gave Smitty a hard time, but he stood up for himself. The fireside chat was successful. Vanessa told Joey that Randy was in the doghouse over his actions with Hayley. Randy insisted he didn’t know about Hayley’s con. Vanessa didn’t believe him for a second. Joey set that drama aside and gave Randy an assignment. Hayley showed up at Garland Memorial, where she tried to make an OBGYN appointment for her condition. Shanice and Ashley were shocked at what this implied. Leslie witnessed this and rejoiced that Hayley was pregnant. Later, she set up shop at Uptown, where she had a diaper cake delivered. Kat and Tomas (Alex Alegria) witnessed it and immediately deduced that Eva was pregnant, but later learned it was Hayley who was with child. Kial (Greg Vaughan) assured Shanice that Nicole was okay with her and Ted moving into Fairmont Crest. Nicole threw a party at her house for the new ChelseaKat launch. Just as Chelsea started giving a speech about the occasion, Kat arrived and announced that Hayley was pregnant. Back at Bill’s office, Hayley stopped by and revealed that she was pregnant with Bill’s baby. If he wanted proof, he could show up at the ultrasound appointment she had made at Garland.
Friday 10/30 (#401)
Bill grilled Hayley. He refused to believe that she was telling the truth. But he will go to her appointment. Bill then showed up at the casino where he tried to manhandle Randy, who told him to back off. He is Joey’s muscle for a reason. At Uptown, Leslie tried to get hot gossip about Ted and Shanice from Grayson, who did tell her about them moving to Fairmont Crest. Ted prepared Shanice for next year’s Halloween when they’ll be living in a house. Shanice wanted to let Nicole remain the queen of Halloween. They could choose another holiday to be theirs. Kial got nervous about not having a costume. At Nicole’s, Madison (Kenjah) toasted ChelseaKat and the women who raised them. Dani ruined the girl-power vibes and brought the men into it. Kial showed up at Nicole’s as a stripper dressed up as a doctor. It made for a cringe moment that Dani and Anita witnessed. Hayley and Leslie were at Uptown when Eva and Izaiah showed up wanting to find out about this diaper cake. They learned that Hayley was pregnant. A single Hayley flirted with Izaiah while Eva chatted with her mom. Leslie didn’t appreciate Hayley flirting with her daughter’s boyfriend and threatened her. If Hayley continued on this path, she would have to deal with the old murderous Leslie. Joey (Jon Lindstrom) and Bill talked about the impact of Hayley’s pregnancy. Their methods of keeping her quiet about their secret wouldn’t work now. Vanessa told Joey that Randy would never be able to get on her good side ever again. Anita and Leslie compared notes about Hayley. They also talked about the upcoming studio session. Anita reminded her nemesis about the conditions. Leslie threatened to pull the rights to Barbara’s vocals. But Anita didn’t back down. Dani talked to Bill about Hayley’s pregnancy. He may end up being the father, but he will never be able to act like that kid’s father. He said he would provide all of the financial support the baby needed, but he wouldn’t raise him or her. Little did he know that that flies in the face of Hayley’s plan, which is to unload the baby on Bill and then bask in the money.
