What to Watch Next Week on BTG
Two big events go down in Fairmont Crest next week. Anita (Tamara Tunie, who took part in a very special Daytime Emmys tradition) is ready to record with her fellow Articulettes. Making the album will coincide with a big visit. Devon and Lily from Genoa City will drop into town, and they’ll bring special news with them.
This is the third visit for Y&R Bryton James. The Articulettes are recording this homage under his musical umbrella. Meanwhile, Christel Khalil’s Lily Winters tags along with Devon because she’s a fan of The Articulettes. This will be her first time on BTG.
The second big event of the week involves Martin (Brandon Claybon). His re-election campaign has been bumpy, to say the least. And that’s mostly due in part to his husband’s recent arrest. Smitty (Mike Manning) is being framed. But the world isn’t ready to know the truth. So this election could go either way. Come 2027, Martin may be sitting at home trying to figure out his second act. But for now, he’ll wait for the results with bated breath.
Elsewhere, we’re going to have to keep an eye out for Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Ted (Keith D. Robinson). Early in the week, the latest batch of teasers suggests that they look good together. They will also rally later in the week. How should we read these developments? Ted just got engaged to Shanice (Ernestine Johnson). And Nicole insists that she and Kial (Greg Vaughan) are better than ever. In fact, she recently gave him a key to her home and her heart.
Hayley (Marquita Goings) is going nowhere now that she’s solidified her DMV status with her impending pregnancy. She’ll have to withstand a grilling, which comes courtesy of her ex-husband. And then toward the end of the week, she and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) will get into it. The former besties will trade barbs. And finally, Heather (Ashley Jones) has something major planned for Joey (Jon Lindstrom). The tension between these surly and powerful siblings is bound to blow up sooner rather than later.
