Happy or Harrowing Anniversary?
Nobody will ever forget Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley’s wedding last year. An unhinged Dani (Karla Mosley) whipped out a gun and made the wedding memorable for all the wrong reasons. Bill and Hayley’s big day was ruined. Jacob (Jibre Hordges) arrested his mother-in-law. Although Dani was responsible for the most fashionable mug shot ever.
Fast forward a year, and Bill and Hayley (Marquita Goings) are still married. But he spent much of the year recognizing all the ways he steered his life wrong. And she spent much of it trying to make herself a black widow. And now Bill and Hayley try to celebrate their anniversary, but it won’t go smoothly.
While they set up court at the country club, look for them to cross paths with several interlopers along the way. And yes, this will include Dani.
Ted Gets Grilled
Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Shanice’s relationship has experienced bumps in the road. But they have worked through them. Their next obstacle involves Shanice’s (Ernestine Johnson) aunt, who gives Ted the third degree.
And we all know that Ted has a lot of cringey material in his recent and distant past. Will Shanice’s aunt ultimately approve? And how much does Shanice’s aunt’s approval mean to her?

Ashley (Jen Jacob) is the only one who is privy to Naomi’s secret. But on Monday, it won’t be her bestie she’s supporting. The Garland Memorial nurse will be the person who is there for Anita (Tamara Tunie) during a difficult time. The longer Anita goes through chemotherapy, the harder it is for her to bounce back. Will she be able to tap her considerable strength and get through this latest crisis?
Finally, Kat (Colby Muhammad) has a proposition for Naomi (Arielle Prepetit). Since Kat just burned a bridge or two with Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla), she declared she was moving out of Dani’s guest house right away. Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) is showing her places to buy and rent. Maybe she thinks her best move is to actually move in with her other cousin. After all, Naomi’s living alone right now.
Jacob temporarily moved out because of his undercover work. Naomi, however, likes her privacy. So, if this is what happens, would she be willing to give up some of that privacy?
