The Beyond the Gates recap for Monday, March 10, sees that fallout from Dani’s arrest rocks the Dupree family. Plus, Ted gives Leslie an ultimatum and Eva meets Andre.

What Happened On Beyond The Gates?

Jacob (Jibre Hordges) arrested Dani (Karla Mosley) at Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Anita’s (Tamara Dupree) house. Vernon argued the charges were baseless. Naomi (Daphnée Duplaix) was furious to learn Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) was behind it.

Jacob tried to be discreet, but Anita was outraged when he read Dani her rights. Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) demanded he not handcuff her mother, but Jacob proceeded. Dani was charged with attempted murder. She was angry but cooperated. Naomi vowed to represent her and declared she would never forgive Jacob for siding with her father.

Recognition

At the hospital, Ted (Maurice Johnson) anxiously waited for Nicole. She was on the roof with Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant), who pretended to be suicidal. Leslie, using the alias “Sherry,” faked distress and commented on Nicole’s wealth. Nicole convinced her to step down and led her inside.

Later, in Nicole’s office, Leslie revealed that her husband had left her, not died. Nicole offered guidance, but Leslie refused to be her patient. Listening at the door, Ted later confronted Leslie. She threatened to expose an affair and toyed with the idea of booking a session with Nicole. Ted warned her to stay away.

Risky Business

At the casino, Doug (Jason Graham) was thrilled to gamble again despite Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) urging him to quit. Doug believed his luck was turning, but Randy warned he was making a mistake.

Meanwhile, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) met Andre (Sean Freeman) at the bar and introduced herself at a bar, but she clarified she wasn’t flirting. She recognized him from his work and flattered him. He joked about his growing ego, and they discussed their careers. Eva mentioned that Ted was a good man to work for. Later, Andre joined Derek (Ben Gavin) and Ashley (Jen Jacob) at their table before leaving.

Charges Dropped

At the police station, Dani’s family watched as she was processed. Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) barely stifled a laugh and Anita sighed at Dani’s model-worthy mugshot pose. A reporter waited outside, which angered Martin. He suspected someone had tipped them off.

Bill showed up, shocking his daughters. Vernon insisted the charges wouldn’t stick, but Bill argued the viral video made it impossible to bury. Chelsea accused Bill of using her, while Vernon and Hayley (Marquita Goings) demanded he drop the charges. Bill relented, and Dani refused to thank him.

In The Dog House

Back home, Vernon and Anita thanked Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning) for their support. Martin fumed but promised not to hit Bill again. Dani thanked Naomi for representing her but worried about the strain on her marriage. Anita reminded her that Jacob embodied the kind of law enforcement they wanted, even if he had to follow orders. Naomi was still upset, and she left.

Dani urged Chelsea not to let her father’s actions ruin their relationship. She reassured her that Bill loved both his daughters. Anita praised Dani. Dani wondered if this was Bill’s way of seeking another chance with her. Anita doubted it. Dani admitted she still loved him and believed he wanted her back.

Meanwhile, Naomi returned home, and Jacob attempted to comfort her. Feeling betrayed, she handed him a blanket and ordered him to sleep on the sofa.

Back at their house, Hayley warned Bill to stop antagonizing Dani and the Duprees, or she would leave him for good.
