In the Monday, March 10 episode of Beyond the Gates, Dani isn’t giving up on Bill anytime soon, no matter what her family thinks. Leslie isn’t about to give up on revenge after she and Ted finally connect. And Naomi just can’t seem to lose her sudden resentment for her husband after he arrested her mom.
No, They Won’t Give Up
Dani Dupree
You’d think that knowing Bill (Timon Durrett) pressed charges against her for attempted murder would further validate her epiphany that her marriage was over. You’d think that after getting processed and taking those modeling shots mugshots, she’d be done with her ex-husband. Unfortunately, it was a hard no for Dani (Karla Mosley).
Instead, she’s doubling down on wanting Bill back. Her logic is that she was done with him. She as much as told Hayley (Marquita Goings) that. She was never going to bother them again. And that’s when Bill decided to get the police involved and bring charges against her. And then he showed up to the precinct. To Dani, that means he wants back in the game. He wants her attention. And she would take his miserable butt back in a heartbeat even though he’s married and his new wife was the one to talk him into pressing charges..

Leslie
Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) used her alter ego’s name — Sherry Carter — to get close to Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix). She feigned an emergency on the rooftop. Sherry was a woman experiencing mental health distress, and she only wanted Niciole’s help. Nicole was able to talk Sherry down from the ledge so they could talk in her office. Ultimately, the two chatted, and Nicole gave “Sherry” some warm advice and offered to treat her pro bono.
However, Leslie said she would need to continue with a new therapist. Leslie then proceeded to confront Ted (Maurice Johnson), who eavesdropped on Leslie and Nicole during their impromptu session. Ted knew exactly who she was. He called what he had with Leslie “an affair.” Meanwhile Leslie already made it feel like it was so much more. Later, when Leslie was on the phone with Eva (Ambyr Michelle), she doubled down on her revenge. In fact, she thinks it’s going to be “delicious.”

Naomi
Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is simply trying her best to process the fact that her husband was the one to come to the Dupree mansion to arrest Dani. Jacob (Jibre Hordges) claimed he was just doing his job. Meanwhile, she asked him why it couldn’t be another cop. Or, at the very least, he could have given her a heads-up. He said he wanted to be there because of his relationship with the family. He would respect them. But that’s not how Naomi saw it.

At the Dupree house, Naomi said she would never forgive Jacob if he arrested her mother. Later, she said he could have given her some notice so she could prepare her mom. And then, she couldn’t shake off her resentment and anger in their bedroom. She doubled down and sent Jacob to sleep on the couch. These two have a lot to work out.
