Dani is about to get the shock of her life courtesy of her sister on Beyond the Gates. This week, there has been a lot of talk about Nicole’s love life. Well, Dani gets up close and personal with it when she gets quite the eyeful, according to the spoilers for the Thursday, July 30 episode of BTG.
Key Takeaways
- Dani walks in on Nicole and Kial at the worst possible moment.
- Bill is caught in the middle of another explosive family showdown.
- Martin presses Kat for answers about her conversation with Smitty.
Dani is Stunned…and Impressed
The Dupree celebration apparently won’t end at Uptown. Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Kial (Greg Vaughan) continue the festivities at Nicole’s place. Unfortunately for them, they are about to be interrupted at the most inopportune time. At least it’s Dani (2026 Daytime Emmy nominee Karla Mosley), probably the best-case scenario for an awkward moment like this.
Needless to say, Nicole and Kial are in shock while Dani gets an eyeful. BTG’s weekly video preview features Dani covering her eyes when she walks into Nicole’s bedroom. Later, she commends her sister for mustering up the willpower to leave Kial in bed to talk to her downstairs.
Earlier this week, Nicole was stressed that she was leaning more on Kial than on Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley). She didn’t want Ted’s business partner to think that she was using him. She has been enjoying dating two men. But as Ted (Keith D. Robinsn) said, she has been inviting Kial to the family events. That says something. Is Nicole closer to ending the love triangle?
The Women in Bill’s Life Turn Him into a Mediator
While Dani is distracted, Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett, a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee) deals with a showdown he would rather avoid. He gets stuck in the middle as Hayley (Marquita Goings) clashes with Naomi (Arielle Prepetit, who’s nominated for a 2026 Daytime Emmy) and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla).
This battle has been brewing for a long time, but especially since Bill’s recent health scare. Naomi and Chelsea don’t think that Hayley’s taking good enough care of their dad, among other things. Hayley just wants to be done with this family. And she is trying to do whatever she can to make that happen.
Martin Wants Kat to Tell Him the Truth
On Thursday, Martin (Brandon Claybon) questions his sister about a suspicious conversation she had with Smitty (Mike Manning, a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee) the night before. This could be about Smitty’s mission to learn more about Lynette Wise’s ties to Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) and her disappearance. He interviewed Lia and got nothing.
He even talked to Hayley, who served up zilch. In cases like this, it’s always smart to turn to Kat (Colby Nixon), Fairmont Crest’s favorite true-crime addict. She even pitched Smitty about teaming up for a podcast once upon a time. Smitty may turn to Kat because she and Tomas (Alex Alegria) had looked into the Lynette (Dominique Madison) situation.
Tomas was trying to figure out the connection between Hayley and Lynette. The mystery puzzled Kat enough for her to start digging, which upset Bill. She eventually dropped it, but she had a strong feeling that Lynette was shadier than she let on. Will Kat tell her brother the details of her conversation with his journalist husband?
