The Beyond The Gates recap for Thursday, March 6, sees Chelsea’s date turn into a threesome. Plus, Dani confronts Hayley after Bill convinces Hayley to quit her job, and Smitty gets an ultimatum from Martin, and so much more. The drama was intense in Fairmont Crest.

What Happened On Beyond The Gates?

After a relaxing spa day, Dani (Karla Mosley) scrolled through online posts about her wedding antics. Andre (Sean Freeman) paid her an unexpected visit.

Andre said he was only there to retrieve some belongings. Dani firmly told him that she wasn’t interested in starting something. She insisted it would never happen again. However, Andre reminded her that they had already broken that rule once.

Dani admitted she liked the attention from her recent viral fame, and she felt liberated from the pressure of being Bill’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) “perfect” partner. Andre then left without collecting anything he supposedly stopped by to get.

A Cycle Repeats

Meanwhile, Bill and Hayley (Marquita Goings) were frustrated that Dani had faced no consequences for pulling a gun at their wedding. Hayley believed Dani could no longer harm them. Bill wanted Hayley to resign from her paralegal job to focus on social climbing in Fairmont Crest. She resisted—until Bill handed her a limitless credit card, which made the idea more appealing.

That night, Dani visited Hayley. Dani said she wanted to move forward and leave their past behind them. Hayley insisted she never meant to hurt anyone, but Dani dismissed her intentions. Instead, Dani pointed out the damage she had caused, particularly to Dani’s daughter, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit). Before leaving, Dani warned Hayley about Bill’s true nature and offered a tense truce—she would keep her distance if Hayley did the same.

An Ultimatum

Martin (Brandon Claybon) was upset that Smitty (Mike Manning) had considered returning to investigative journalism without telling him. Of course, Martin hadn’t told Smitty he’d considered running for president.

After cooling down, Martin apologized but emphasized that maintaining a traditional family image was essential for his career. Frustrated with being pushed into a passive role, Smitty resisted, but Martin issued a firm ultimatum—he needed to abandon his job plans.

Praise

At Garland Memorial, Ashley’s (Jen Jacob) colleagues surprised her with flowers for delivering the baby in an elevator. Derek (Ben Gavin) also gifted her flowers but was overshadowed by Andre’s playful text.

Later, Ashley and Derek met Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Naomi for drinks, and Andre unexpectedly appeared. Despite everything, Derek welcomed him, declaring, “Any friend of Ashley’s is a friend of mine.”

Suspicions

Meanwhile, Kat (Colby Muhammad) continued her vendetta against Eva (Ambyr Michelle). Kat mocked Ted’s (Maurice Johnson) suit choice before faking warmth toward Eva. She asked Eva about her past. However, Ted and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) defended Eva’s struggles. Kat abruptly announced she couldn’t attend an upcoming gala, offering a vague excuse.

Later, Kat found Eva in Nicole’s office and confronted her again. Eva had been copying a tribute video for Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant).

Temptation

Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) went on a date with a charming yet unremarkable tech entrepreneur, who doubted he was interesting enough for her. Chelsea reassured him he wasn’t. They decided to continue the evening at his place, but there was a twist—he was married. Chelsea eagerly anticipated meeting his wife and spending the night with both of them.

Elsewhere, Dani and Andre once again gave in to temptation.
