On Beyond the Gates, Dani seems like she’s on a runaway horse and just holding on for dear life. She’s been in a tailspin ever since Bill dumped her for the much younger Hayley. She’s been trying to fill the hole in her life by having booty calls with Andre. But the photographer is noticing she’s having issues with alcohol, and it’s clear that she’s been having a hard time letting Bill go completely. His real-world alter ego, Timon Kyle Durrett, opened up about Dani and Bill’s unresolved issues.
Hayley’s Worried
Durrett took some time to speak with Soaps about what’s going on in Bill and Dani’s (Karla Mosley) post-marriage world. Hayley (Marquita Goings) used to be Dani’s bestie, but that went down the toilet when it was revealed she had an affair with Bill, causing his marriage to Dani to crumble. Durrett noted, “There’s definitely some underlying concern on Hayley’s part,” insinuating that Hayley worries Bill could be drawn back to Dani.
The actor also remarked that Hayley isn’t stupid and can see when “moments” flare up between Bill and Dani. “She’s no fool. She understands,” he explained, adding that it’s not as if the two were old friends who’ve been out of touch. “This is his ex-wife and the mother of his two daughters who he loves very much,” he stated. They’re Still Connected
Durrett noted that when a couple breaks up, especially one like theirs where they had kids together, “It’s hard to sever that connection entirely.” He remarked that when a couple was previously together, not all the moments were bad. Thus, there can be old, happy feelings that can re-emerge from time to time.
But it seems Bill might have an underlying health condition, and only his daughter Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is aware of it at the moment. If things get worse for him, Dani might find herself drawn back to him in a need to take care of her ex. Should that happen, there’s going to be an all-out war between her and Hayley.
