Maurice P. Kerry Teases Debut Love Scene

Kerry teased the filming of his first love scene on BTG during Richard Taite’s We’re Out of Time podcast. At first, Kerry wasn’t sure if he could confirm the love scene. He just suggested that he filmed something that he was thrilled for fans to see.

“There is something coming that we have shot, and I’m proud of it,” Kerry explained. “I got to see the edit, and I’m proud of it… It’s still daytime, so it’s relatively clean, but I’m very happy.”

Then Kerry finally confirmed, “I did have a love scene.” During the interview, Kerry expressed his excitement about the “vulnerability” of the scenes. It was equal parts passionate but appropriate for daytime TV.

He jokingly mentioned that he’d love for the writers to incorporate a “new girl” for Randy to keep things fresh. It’s a soap opera, after all. Check out Kerry talking about the love scene below.

What’s Next For Randy Parker?

Randy finds himself dealing with three women who are currently keeping his life interesting. There’s his cousin Hayley (Marquita Goings), who’s struggling to close her current con. She’s married to Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett). And with Randy’s help, they are trying to collect on that $10 million life insurance policy.

Additionally, there’s potential for a deep, meaningful bond between Randy and Mona. For now, Kerry is calling what they have created a “safe friendship.” Mona represents an ordinary world where someone sees the good in him. And he loves that someone sees him like that.

Unfortunately, that’s not the way he sees himself. Meanwhile, there are nostalgic sparks flying between Randy and Lynette (Dominique Madison), his and Hayley’s con-artist pal from way back.

Randy’s also dealing with life as an enforcer for Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). Joey is highly suspicious of Randy’s connection to Bill’s wife. And so that could develop into a problem for Randy in the future.
