Scott Clifton — A Biography
Born in Los Angeles, Scott Clifton was passionate about acting at an early age. At nine, his mother gave him a copy of Shakespeare’s Hamlet and he has been hooked ever since.
Clifton became a familiar face on daytime television very early on. It started with an audition for General Hospital. He didn’t get the part but was called back to play the character of Dillon Quartermaine. Originally designated as a guest performer, the talented thespian quickly won over fans and became a beloved character in Port Charles.
The actor went on to play Schuyler Joplin on One Life to Live and signed on to play William Spencer III aka Liam on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2010. Clifton has won three Daytime Emmys for his stellar work.
Clifton didn’t stop with daytime. He moved on to primetime television hits such as Judging Amy, Undressed, and Roswell. His film credits include The Death Strip, The Bourne Again Identity, and Tactics.
An accomplished singer, songwriter, and musician, Clifton has released the music albums Untitled, Unbeautiful, So Much for the Night Life, and Girl Go Home. He credits Matchbox Twenty’s song Push for inspiring his musical career.
Clifton lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Nicole, and their son, Ford.
