Birth Name: Lamon Dezjon Archey
Birth Place: Daly City, California
Profession: Actor and Model

Born in Daly City, California, and raised in San Mateo by his grandparents, Lamon was very shy and introverted growing up. Although he played baseball and football, he was happy being in the background. He was scouted at a Job Fair by a modeling agency, prompting a move to Los Angeles, which granted Archey an opportunity to model.

Modeling helped build his confidence, while Lamon’s manager, Michael Bruno, encouraged him to start acting lessons to help him get a role on a soap. He was about to give up before landing two day roles on Days of Our Lives and a short titled Let’s Get Laid.

In 2012, Lamon snagged the recurring role of Mason Wilder on America’s #1 soap, The Young and the Restless, and, soon after, the role of T.J. Lawson on Diary of a Champion. His stint on Y&R lasted until 2014.

Archey began adding more to his resume with roles on such shows and film as Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life, Roadies, 2 Broke Girls, Dope Boys, Can’t Buy Love and The Woman in the Red Dress. In 2017, Lamon signed on to play his most engaging role yet — Eli Grant on NBC’s Days of Our Lives.

Lamon resides in Los Angeles, where he continues to shape his craft and build a fan following.
