The week of December 19, 2022

It’s home for the holidays week in Salem, as four stars return to the soap. The special visits begin on Thursday, December 22, when Kyle Lowder reprises his role as Rex Brady and pops in to see his parents, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).

Lamon Archey is back as Eli Grant on Friday, December 23. He’ll be surprising his grandmother, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), and will have twins, Jules and Carver, with him.

Cady McClain returns as Jennifer Deveraux on Friday, December 23. She’ll join Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and the family as they decorate the Horton Christmas tree.

There’s also a special appearance by Marci Miller as the late Abigail DiMera. The character will share a special fantasy moment with Billy Flynn’s Chad on Friday, December 23. 

Also, Cary Christopher is back as young Thomas DiMera. The tyke airs on Friday, December 23. 

Days of our Lives History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas, and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
