Jacob Aaron Gaines — A Biography
Born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, Jacob Aaron Gaines seemed to gravitate towards acting at an early age. He appeared in six national television commercials and a TV drama titled Dimensional Shift before landing the Netflix Original film Fatal Affair opposite Nia Long (ex-Kat Speakes, Guiding Light) and Omar Epps.
The casting call for the role of Moses Winters on The Young and the Restless came in early 2021. Even at his young age, Gaines knew that the role was something special. His mother helped him record his scenes in the family garage on his cell phone and the rest is history. He joined the cast in March of 2021 as the son of Sofia Dupree and the late Neil Winters.
A highly motivated and driven young man, Gaines sees a lot of himself in the character of Moses. He still manages to balance ambition by hanging out with friends and playing basketball, baseball, video gaming, and even a little bowling.
