ABC soap fans went wild last night at around 8 pm when General Hospital (GH) put out a video with none other than daytime vet James DePaiva on the hospital set.
The tweet told us to watch daily to learn more about his top secret role, and rumor has it he’ll play Jeff Webber. So, let’s see if Hayden and Liz start talking about dear old Dad any time soon.
As soon as the word was out, Kassie DePaiva, whose own daytime return to Days of Our Lives (DOOL) was announced last week, tweeted the big news, and soon James took to his Facebook page to tell us about his first day on the set.
He calls the role a new adventure, so it seems he might be sticking around for a while. It could also mean the role is new for him, meaning the Jeff theory could be right and he’s not playing Llanview’s Max Holden.

Seeing DePaiva on the hospital set might be a big hint that he’s playing a doctor, which we know Max is certainly not.
