What’s a soap without a huge, juicy, life-changing secret, 83% of you demand to know? Obviously, Diane’s (Susan Walters) connection to Tucker will prove to all and sundry, once and for all, that she’s been lying about why she is back in Genoa City. We’re not sure how or why, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) seemed convinced of it, so who are we to argue?
This Better Be Good
Make it worth our while, 9% beg. Considering how pathetic the last few secret reveals have been on Y&R — Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) has an ex-girlfriend! Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) mom is sick! Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has a podcast! — we aren’t getting too excited about what Diane and Tucker’s connection could be until we learn whether it’s worth our while. If the huge secret is that they knew each other in Los Angeles…who cares?

Diane has owned up to who she used to be, 8% point out, and her focus now is on moving forward and building a loving relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). What’s the point of dredging up her past? Nothing she and Tucker did could possibly be worse than what Diane did to Nikki and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), so why dredge up past history?
