Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has the baby and is on his way out of town. Will it be a smooth ride for the career criminal, or will Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and the WSB catch up to him? As Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) says, it seems like the bad guys win. Let’s hope that’s not the case this time.
This is a living nightmare for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). She gets the dreaded call from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), and it breaks her heart (and theirs too). Is it finally time for the truth about Bailey to come out? They may not have a choice now. They need all the help they can get.
Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) come to a crossroads in their epic love story. Can Sonny convince Carly she’s the only woman for him? General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
Bringing the Drama
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
