The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, December 10, 2020, features Ava walking free, Steve kicking out Tripp, and Gwen playing games.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Ava (Tamara Braun) was under arrest but she did not stay that way for long. Within minutes, Steve (Stephen Nichols) showed up with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Justin (Wally Kurth) trailing behind. Everyone was there to talk Trask into cutting a deal.
Trask’s Hands Were Tied
Trask (Tina Huang) was reluctant to let Ava or Joey walk free. She did not have much of a choice, though. Kayla refused to press charges against Ava and Ava refused to testify in a new case against Joey. All that was left was getting a judge to sign off.
Tripp Out, Joey In
With the deal out of the way, Steve dropped another bomb on Tripp. He asked him to move out. Living together just is not working. No problem, dad, I can live with mom.
One son was moving out but they were happy to have another coming home soon. Kayla and Steve headed to the hospital to give Joey (James Lastovic) the good news.

A Bad Date
Justin’s time in the courtroom cost him a date. He was late to dinner with Bonnie (Judi Evans) and she was bitter. So much so, by the time Justin got there a new guy was already there to take his place.
While Bonnie waited, she did manage to have a chat with Jennifer (Cady McClain). She overheard Jen going at Kate (Lauren Koslow) and tried to talk her down. Bonnie even tried to push her back into Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) arms but Jen clearly was not ready.
Manipulations and Mind Games
As for Jack, he had a hard time adjusting to life at the mansion. His proximity to Kate was a problem and he tried to scamper away every time she walked in the room.
Meanwhile, Kate and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) got into it over Jake. Kate demanded to know what it would take to keep the affair a secret. Gwen said she would hide it for free as long as Kate did not cross her.
Of course, Gwen was a monster so she ran straight to Jennifer to share how awkward things were between Kate and Jack. It raised more flags for sure. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
