Claire has not had a lot of luck with men on Days of our Lives. She obsessed over Theo – but he was in love with Ciara (Victoria Konefal). She was dating Tripp (Lucas Adams) – but he proposed to Haley (Thia Megia). Then she tried to kill some people and ended up in the mental hospital.

She’s feeling better now. She turned out to not be the one trying to sabotage Ciara and Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) wedding. And now she seems to be on the verge of a normal, non-psycho relationship with Charlie the Intern (Mike C. Manning). How almost 2,000 viewers feel about the potential pairing:
Bad Move
More than half of you, 57%, are not on board. You don’t know anything about Mike, really. Except that he is prone to having things spilled on his shirt. Oh, and also there’s the fact that you’re pretty sure Charlie is Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) rapist and Henry’s father.

And that, at some point down the line, we’re all supposed to be totes surprised by that revelation. He was in England at the right time. And he’s a newbie, which makes him more disposable and dispensable. Stay away, Claire (Isabel Durant). You can do better.
Getting To Know You
Let’s not be hasty, 43% of the audience counters. Charlie could still be anything at the moment. He could still turn out to be great! He seems to be a good employee, no matter how hard Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) make it for him. He’s nice to Claire. He’s pleasant to look at.
And, as long as he turns out not to be a rapist, he could be interesting. Sure, that’s a low bar, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be able to clear even that. If he does, though, welcome to Salem, Charlie! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
