Earlier this year, Daytime Emmy nominee Chrishell Stause competed for a golden girl for her portrayal of Days of our Lives’ Jordan Ridgeway. Now, she’s on a quest for a different kind of statue — the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy on Dancing With the Stars.
Chrishell Stause: Dancing Sensation
Paired with DWTS pro, Gleb Savchenko (when will a soap scoop this guy up?), Stause is learning a new dance each week. Her scores have increased after each dance and comments from the show’s judges — Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli — have indicated that she is making steady and impressive progress.
Stause recently posted a video on Instagram that showed the duo’s recent foxtrot. “Today has been so crazy busy learning a new dance for next week,” Stause shared, “1st day back is always the hardest! I can not thank you guys enough for voting!!!! It means the world to me!!!”
Savchenko has nothing but praise for the efforts his pupil is making and likewise appreciates the show’s fans. “We made it to another week but first I just want to show some appreciation for my incredible partner. @chrishell.stause you are one of the hardest working people I know whether it’s on or off the ballroom floor,” Savchenko wrote on Facebook.
“You constantly radiate positivity and aren’t afraid to be yourself or encourage others when they need it,” he adds. “For those reasons, I absolutely ‘ADORE’ having you as my dance partner and can’t wait to tackle 80’s Night with you this week! Let’s get it. 🙌🏼”
“I also so appreciate all the feedback on what I shared last night on the show,” Stause added in her post. “Love connecting with so many of you on this 🙏🏼…#DWTS #TeamSellingIt @dancingabc @glebsavchenkoofficial.”
Stause is referencing her pre-dance video package in which she opened up about freezing her eggs so that someday she’ll be able to experience motherhood. “I loved your dance and you looked so beautiful,” posted @jamie_chapman_44. “You seem like you’re definitely getting more confident with your dancing! And your story made me tear up. You deserve to be a mom! ❤️”

Chrishell Stause is receiving lots of support from her pals in daytime, fellow DWTS castmates, and her fans. “That spin though!” wrote ice skater Johnny Weir, who is competing on the show this season. “👑 Queen.”
“You killed this! So proud of u 🔥,” posted Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young and the Restless). Added Martha Madison (Belle, DAYS): “👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.”
“You were amazing as usual! Yay !!” cheered Kate Linder (Esther, The Young and the Restless), a long time fan of Dancing With The Stars.
At least one of Stause’s fans would like to see the Selling Sunset star and Savchenko turn up the heat a smidge. “Geez you guys are trying so hard not to give in to the sexual attraction so it feels like they are forcing you to do it,” offers @brianafishtank. “It doesn’t look unforced, if you can, solve that tension you will be irresistible to watch dancing ❤️🔥.”
“I do think that attraction is inevitable when two people are that close, esp 2 good looking people,” says @alexandrabianca. Responds @brainafishtank: “Exactly because the guy is committed and Chrishell is so well behaved there is that awkward feeling you get, when there is no tension its very sensual and melts you😂❤️.”
