Days of our Lives’ Chrishell Stause Shines as Cinderella on Dancing With the Stars

Disney Night on Dancing With the Stars turned out to be magical for Chrishell Stause and her pro partner Gleb Savchenko in more ways than one. She not only got to live out a fantasy dancing the waltz as Cinderella but the former Days of Our Lives star earned her highest score yet in the dance reality competition series.

Chrishell Stause: Fairy Tale Come True

The anticipation that the couple would perform well grew as last night’s show unfolded. Stause and Savchenko was the last couple to perform and the show traditionally has sometimes saved the best for last! The pair wore matching light blue costumes as Stause brought to life Cinderella and Savchenko was her Prince Charming.

As the dance concluded, the clock bells struck midnight, keeping the two from sharing a kiss. Cinderella ran off, leaving her prince, sad, lamenting her sudden exit. In the first two weeks, the couple received respective scores of 13 and 18. Last night, there was further improvement.

“Chrishell, the belle of the ballroom,” exclaimed judge Bruno Tonioli. “Gorgeous! You really looked like the ultimate Disney princess, gorgeous! I could feel the romance unfolding. An extra point for that ‘where has she gone’ look [at the end].”

“You [two] are magic together, stunning,” said judge Carrie Ann Inaba, noting that they need to “just work a little bit more on your shoulders. You’re so beautiful, it hurts to see you make these ugly lines.”

“Rags to riches,” judge Derek Hough said, noting the couple’s continued improvement. “A few little notes — when you do turns, make sure you keep your feet together…but this was a beautiful dance, well done.”

The judges backed up their positive words with paddles that the couple hadn’t seen this season. Inaba and Hough gave ‘7’s’ and Tonioli bestowed upon the pair an ‘8.’

Stause was excited about the night’s theme. She posted on Instagram prior to the show’s start: “It’s DISNEY NIGHT on @dancingabc!!! Please tune in and VOTE!!! Hoping to bring some graceful moves to the ballroom as Cinderella…Disney Magic is in the air! Text Chrishell to 21523 for 10 votes & link in bio for 10 more from a computer!)
