Ava (Maura West) has a pill bottle in hand. She’s finally following up on what went wrong with Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) meds. Presumably, she knows if she can play her roomie’s hero, her place in his inner circle will be saved. Will she find out who tampered with the bipolar medication? Meanwhile, John (Adam J. Harrington) is all business and not warm and friendly like he was with Lois (Rena Sofer) the other day. He must be talking to Jason (Steve Burton) about Carly’s (Laura Wright) boneheaded visit to Brennan (Charles Mesure). Seems like Agent Cates wants to know what was said. ASAP, no doubt.
Teasers suggest that exes Dex (Evan Hofer) and Joss (Eden McCoy) involve themselves in a little flirty competition. Apparently, this revolves around a race in the park. Will their fun flirting lead anywhere? (Hofer celebrated a birthday this week)

After her informative conversation with Jason yesterday, Sam (Kelly Monaco) doesn’t keep the news to herself. She tells Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) about Jason working for the FBI. Immediately, Dante realizes those are fighting words for Sonny. After all, his dad doesn’t just dislike Agent John “Jagger” Cates. He hates him.
Once again, Sonny gets his flirt on with Natalia (Eva LaRue). Does he go one step further and ask her to be his plus one for the wedding?
“And she just made our job exponentially harder.” Finally, Anna (Finola Hughes) tells it like it is. How will Jason excuse or explain why Carly did what she did? Because you know he will.
