Dancing With the Stars has been on-air for a whopping 27 seasons, which means we’ve had at least over 300 stars compete on this show over the years. While there have been a lot of bad dancers, some worse than others, there have also been a number of really great competitors.
Though it’s difficult to pick the top five best dancers of all time on DWTS, as there are so many to choose from, here’s our list of the best to ever hit the dance floor. See if your favorites make the cut!
Zendaya
Before she became the massive movie star she is today, Zendaya was a young teenager on a Disney Channel show. She competed on DWTS when she was just 16 years old and proved she’s one of the best dancers to ever hit the dance floor. Though she ended up getting second place, her incredible dances will live on forever!
Alfonso Ribeiro
Who could ever forget the amazing moment Ribeiro and his partner Witney Carson pulled those Carlton moves during one of their dances?! The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star may not have been the favorite to win at the beginning of the season, but he proved hard work and dedication can win you that Mirrorball Trophy!
Shawn Johnson
Shawn competed in not one but two seasons of the show! She first competed on Season 8 and ended up winning with partner Mark Ballas. She then returned for the All-Star season with partner Derek Hough, and she finished in second place. Not only was she a complete natural on the dance floor, her gymnastic skills really upped her game.
Kelly Monaco
Monaco will always go down as one of the best DWTS contestants ever because she was the first person to ever win — with partner Alec Mazo! The General Hospital star won the trophy back in 2005 and then came back to compete on the All-Star season with Val Chmerkovskiy, where they came in third.
Jordan Fisher
There’s a possibility Jordan’s the best male star to ever compete on the show. The Disney star won Season 25 with partner Lindsay Arnold and practically blew the competition out of the water. In fact, for a lot of their dances, it was difficult to tell who was the professional and who was the star!
