Try not to freak out, but Jennifer Aniston has officially joined Instagram! The actress shared her first photo to the social media site on Tuesday, and it has the Internet in a total frenzy.

Perhaps part of the excitement is that the 50-year-old shared a photo from a recent dinner with her former Friends co-stars and included the caption, “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM.”
Aniston is joined by Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matthew Perry (Chandler), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), and former on-screen love interest David Schwimmer (Ross) in the adorable photo.
The news of Aniston’s Instagram arrival came when she commented on LeBlanc’s photo of the Friends cast and said, “You don’t have to # me anymore,” — the hashtag which is how people label others who are not on the service.
A Friendly Push
In fact, Aniston was encouraged to join Instagram by Cox, who joked about The Morning Show star not being on the social media platform in a recent post celebrating the 25th anniversary of Friends.

Aniston has been resistant to joining Instagram in the past, even revealing she feels like it’s unhealthy. “They’re doing it through someone else’s lens, which has been filtered and changed…and then it’s ‘like me, don’t like me, did I get liked?’ There’s all this comparing and despairing,” she told InStyle.
Though it took her a while to get on board, we know Aniston is going to be great at Instagram. Not only does she have so many famous friends, but she’s also hilarious and will more than likely provide great content.
