Game of Thrones fans freaked out last Sunday when someone noticed a Starbucks cup was located in one of the scenes during the fourth episode of Season 8 that aired on Sunday, May 5. Wait until you see who is with this new coffee cup that was spotted!
While the first culprit in #StarbucksGate looked like it belonged to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), the actress responded to the accusations in a hilarious way on Instagram and may have also revealed a spoiler in the process.
Clarke shared a photo on Wednesday of herself holding a coffee cup — alongside current co-star Peter Dinklage (Tyrion). But he wasn’t the only one in the picture. So was former co-star Jason Momoa (ex-Khal Drogo) in what looks to be a behind-the-scenes picture from Season 8 — not Season 1, the season Momoa appeared on the series.
“Did I just stumble upon the truth here?! The cup bearer does not drinketh the Starbucks tea… oh and this ain’t a spoiler just a lost wanderer coming home for a mid filming cuppa…. @prideofgypsiesyou so fire you make my hair turn blue,” she captioned the sweet photo.
Though she did say the photo isn’t a spoiler and basically explained Momoa was on set just to hang with the cast, some fans did begin to wonder if he’ll show up in a scene during one of the last two episodes that remain.
“BUT PLEASEEEEE BE A SPOILER THOUGH!!! Dany dies and meets up with Khal Drogo in the final episode?!” one fan commented on the photo.
“OMG YOU’VE NEVER WORN THIS DRESS IN THE SHOW, IT’S A SPOILER,” another person shared.
