The couple from The Bachelor — Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Luyendyk — announced their daughter’s birth on Thursday, but it didn’t take them very long to also reveal the beautiful name they picked out for their first child and her first pictures.
They shared the first picture of his daughter on Instagram and revealed her name in the caption. “This was first time she laid eyes on me and I’m forever changed. Alessi Ren Luyendyk,” Arie wrote.
His wife also posted a photo of their little girl to Instagram and wrote, “Alessi Ren Luyendyk. Born May 29, 2019 @ 2:09pm. 6lbs, 13 oz. 20 inches long. She is sweet, calm and @ariejr and I could not be more in love with her.”
The 37-year-old Arie also shared a photo of the mother and daughter duo on his Instagram Stories and said, “Mommy and baby are doing great. We are so incredibly happy.”

Former Bachelor star Vanessa Grimaldi said, “BEAUTIFUL!!! Congratulations my love!!!!!” while Haley Ferguson said, “Awww she’s perfect just like her mama!! Congratulations!”
Ex-Bachelor Bob Guiney also shared his love for the picture, writing, “She’s beautiful!!! So happy for you both!!!”
It’s definitely been a whirlwind for the couple, as they got engaged, married, and had a baby all in just over a year of being together. Congratulations again to this adorable family!
