Another baby for The Bachelor has officially arrived! Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Luyendyk welcomed their first child on Thursday, May 29.
The proud papa shared the exciting news on his Instagram story, saying, “We have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl 6 lbs, 13 Oz. 20cm Long. Mommy and baby are doing great, we are so incredibly happy.”
A few hours before announcing their daughter’s birth, Luyendyk shared an update with fans on Instagram.
“A little update…it’s 5am and @laurenburnham just received an epidural. She is doing great and everything is going smoothly! We are going to try and catch a little sleep and hopefully we will meet our baby soon.”
He also shared a number of videos on his Instagram Story of Lauren in labor and even caught her getting emotional just before they welcomed their daughter.

Luyendyk also shared a photo of himself and his wife in her hospital gown with the caption, “IT’S HAPPENING!”
The happy couple announced their pregnancy back in November, just a couple of months before they tied the knot in January.
“Nothing compares, absolutely nothing compares to the moment you find out you’re going to be a dad! We cried, we laughed and it really was such a special moment for us, we’re so freakin’ happy!” Luyendyk wrote on Instagram at the time.
The 27-year-old mama also shared, “Our greatest adventure begins June 2019!”
