Days of our Lives Photo Recap: Konstantin’s World Will Implode

The Tuesday, May 7 episode of Days of Our Lives saw Victor’s Will Emerge From Probate, while Alex and Kristen’s plan is about to backfire on them.

Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) revealed that she was planning on donating most of her inheritance to charity, much to a horrified Konstantin’s (John Kapelos) chagrin. Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn) explained to Steve (Stephen Nichols) how they circumvented Konstantin’s hypnotic control, while Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) jumped into the sack when he was supposed to be celebrating with Theresa (Emily O’Brien). Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) had issues with Kristen, while Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) voiced their concerns to Maggie.

Maggie was happy to learn that Victor’s will was finally out of probate.
Alex was shocked to learn that Victor’s estate was worth more than he imagined. With a slip of the tongue, Theresa said, “We’re gonna be set for life…I mean, you’re gonna be set for life.” He went to get champagne and caviar to celebrate.
Marlena convinced John and Steve not to let Konstantin get between them. They told Steve how they figured out Konstantin was using the card to turn him into the Pawn again, so John faked it when Konstantin later thought he was controlling him.
Kristen was telling Brady how she wanted to give him more access to Rachel, when Alex showed up and planted one on her.
When Maggie revealed that she planned to donate most of her inheritance to charity, as well as distribute a good portion among the family, Konstantin had a constipated look on his face. He ran off after apologizing for saying she shouldn’t do that without thinking about it first (which she had).
Brady showed up at Alex’s to vent to Theresa about Kristen. He told her that Alex was at the Kiriakis mansion, getting it on with his ex. Theresa realized she made a mistake by not telling Alex she was into him, as Alex and Kristen’s plan to make her and Brady jealous backfired.
John and Marlena revealed that John snuck into the mansion and swapped out the prenup with a fake one, so when he retrieved it from the safe and Konstantin burned it, the conman didn’t know he was being conned.
Xander asked Maggie if Konstantin would be getting a job after their wedding, or just living off of her fortune.
An apprehensive Konstantin ran to Theresa, surprising Brady. He made up a story about needing help to get a wedding present. Brady was blown away by the wedding news.
After Brady left, Konstantin was in panic mode, and told her that if she didn’t get Alex’s half of the inheritance, “There will be consequences.”
