The only John you want to see is romantic John. The one who loves Marlena. The one who speaks suggestively of strawberries and cream. The one who stands by his woman and does whatever she wants and keeps the home fires burning and has no opinions of his own. Especially cranky ones. You like your John easily manageable. So hurry up and get well soon – and quit with the yelling.

John is saying everything we’ve wanted to say for years – decades, 11% of the Days of our Lives fans cheer. Everyone in Salem is just too damn polite. Angry John isn’t. He’ll tell everybody off. Why stop with Sami and Kristen? Go door to door, John, and tell everybody what you think of them.
Sure, accusing Steve (Stephen Nichols) of wanting Marlena (Deidre Hall) was a bit out of line. But John is right more often than he’s wrong. Think of all the sense he could yell into people?
