Serena Scott Thomas has begun filming a new role, however the soap is keeping her character’s identity a secret. The English actress is known for her portrayal of the late Princess Diana in the 1993 TV mini-series Diana: Her Story, and also appeared in the films Four Weddings and a Funeral and The World Is Not Enough.
Louis Tomeo debuts as Tate’s (Leo Howard) new pal, Aaron, on Wednesday, May 8. He’ll interact with Howard, Ashley Puzemis’ Holly and Madelyn Kientz’s Sofia. The actor’s credits include Every Witch Way, The Summer I Turned Pretty, and 9-1-1.

Maggie Carney has been playing Rita, EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) secretary and a longtime employee at DiMera Enterprises.
On the exit front, Lucas Adams and Victoria Grace departed the soap as Tripp Johnson and Wendy Shin when the pair left for an extended trip to Hong Kong. The door has been left open for their return at a later date.
