The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, September 2, 2019, features Brooke and Ridge falling apart as Wyatt and Sally made their way back to each other in this emotional episode.

An Act of Mercy
Detective Sanchez tried to get Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) to answer whether he was pushed or whether he fell. Thomas began to remember and said he fell. When the detective pushed, Thomas stuck to his story that no one pushed him.

The detective reiterated that if he remembered more, he should tell him — but also that his name came up in another matter. After the detective left, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) tried to talk with his son but the doctor wanted him to rest. When Thomas wanted to talk, the doctor relented.

Thomas told his father that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was only trying to protect Hope (Anika Noelle) and apologized for being selfish. He also didn’t know why he did what he did and apologized to all and promised never to do anything like it again.

Alone Time
Thomas asked to speak with Hope alone but no one, especially Liam (Scott Clifton), wanted to allow that. He tried to explain he did it out of love — for Douglas and her.

He claimed keeping quiet about Brooke pushing him was to show he’s finally putting Hope’s happiness first. He hoped one day Hope could forgive him.

The doctor (Vincent Irizarry) gave Ridge the great news that he saw no lasting damage for Thomas. But things got awkward between Ridge and Brooke after, as he pointed out, she was lucky Thomas covered for her while she insisted his apology fell flat and he still needed to pay for all he’s done.

More Firsts
At home, Liam and Hope talked about what happened at the hospital, and how Thomas’s apology wasn’t near enough to make up for all he did. Hope wanted to only focus on the future — and Liam was good with that.

Wally Reconnect
Apparently, their first kiss was just all right so Wyatt (Darin Brooks) asked Sally (Courtney Hope) for a chance to redeem himself. She apologized again for not telling him everything about Thomas. While Wyatt didn’t want him to die, he did feel Thomas got what he deserved. Sally pointed out that Douglas had already lost enough.

As for Flo (Katrina Bowden), Wyatt did feel that she deserved to pay for what she’d done but he also wanted to move past it. Wyatt asked if they could press the reset button and asked Sally out on a date.  The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
