Y&R’s Joshua Morrow Shares What the Summer Holds for Him and Nick

Fan favorite Joshua Morrow has been thrilling “Young and the Restless” fans since the mid-1990s. As Nick Newman, his stories still take center stage and expect more hot plots as the summer temperature rises

What’s Next for the Nick Newman!
“Nick’s basically been drawing a line in the sand where his dad is concerned, and the family’s kind of fractured at this point,” Morrow told CBS.com.

The actor said he wasn’t sure if the Newmans could easily heal from the latest trauma they’ve suffered. We hope so, and we’ll all find out soon!

Nick vs. Josh

It’s been a tumultuous year so far Nick. He lost his wife Sage (Kelly Sullivan), he lost who he believes to be his son, and his testimony helped put his Victor (Eric Braeden) in prison.

Luckily, Joshua Morrow’s life sees fewer dark times and more fun ones, he told CBS.

Goal!
When he’s not working on the Y&R set, Morrow’s activities center around fitness, keeping him buff and healthy.

“My summer workouts don’t change much because most of my workouts revolve around sports,” Morrow said. He loves competition and even joked that he aims to beat someone at something every day!

He also coaches sports played by all four of his children.

All Aboard!
The actor also has a touch of wanderlust. He, his wife, and kids all love to travel. He even plans to put his love of sports and fitness into vacation mode and travel to Cooperstown, NY this summer–home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. And let’s not forget his annual family trip to Yosemite National Park.

“The greatest trip I’ve ever taken with my wife is when we went river rafting in Idaho for five days with eight other couples,” Morrow said.

It sounds like perfect summertime activity, indeed.
