The Young and the Restless (YR) has explained Neil Winters’ absence from Genoa City by saying he’s in New York taking care of his son Moses while his mom, Sofia, recovers from an accident.
But Neil’s portrayer, Kristoff St. John, can be seen in the holiday movie, A Christmas Cruise, set to premiere on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 9pm ET on ION Television.
The film is packed with familiar soap names. The lead is Vivica A. Fox (ex-Stephanie, Y&R), who plays Pam, a writer, who hasn’t made enough time for romance in her life so her pal, Becky, played by Jessica Morris (ex-Jen, One Life to Live), urges her to go on a holiday cruise.
Once on board, Pam encounter’s Jake, played by St. John. The question is will their romance continue after the ship re-docks?
This isn’t the first time St. John and Fox have shared the screen together. They played lovebirds Adam and Maya on Generations, the short-lived NBC soap that ran from 1989-91.
The cast also includes some familiar soap hunks including Rib Hillis (ex-Jake, Port Charles), David Lago (ex-Raul, Y&R), and Jason Cook (ex-Shawn, Days of Our Lives). Nick Viall of The Bachelor fame is credited in the film as Bob, a hotel manager. Check out the video preview of A Christmas Cruise.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
