Amanda Sinclair hasn’t had a moment’s peace in recent Y&R spoilers — not since she tracked down her biological family. First, her mother, Naya Benedict wanted nothing to do with her. Then, Amanda learned that her father, Richard, was murdered.
Her grandfather, Sutton Ames (Jack Langdon), hired Amanda (Mishael Morgan) to defend him against those charges. But, when Naya (Ptosha Storey) confessed to the crime, Sutton forbade Amanda from defending her mother – by tracking down the real killer. Amanda is determined to do it anyway. And over 3,000 fans are convinced they know how Sutton will react to said disobedience:
Just because threats haven’t worked up to this point is no reason for Sutton not to go down that well again, 56% of you shrug. The dude has only one arrow in his quiver, and he keeps whipping it out, no matter how many times it misses its target. Isn’t he bored yet?
A more cynical – and action-oriented – 36% of the audience expect Amanda to have a little… accident, any day now. You know, something along the lines of what happened to her daddy. Maybe Sutton has more tricks up his sleeves than just huffing and puffing. Maybe he really can blow Amanda’s house down. That should keep her too distracted to ask questions Sutton doesn’t want to be answered.
Those who predicted that Amanda would suffer an accident only meant that she’d be out of commission for a while. But a more blood-thirsty 8% figure she’ll be down for the count. Why only wound your enemy when you can kill her and get her out of the way for good. After all, it worked for decades at solving the pesky Richard problem. And it will make Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) Grandaddy’s little princess again.
