The Y&R spoilers recap for Thursday, January 27, 2022, kicks off with Mariah Copeland making life choices, Devon Hamilton finding out his place isn’t exactly baby-friendly, Chance Chancellor receiving an unexpected letter, and Noah Newman nearly confessing his feelings to Tessa Porter.
The Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) took a walk to get her head on straight. Somehow, she also managed to set up a movie under the stars on the patio at Crimson Lights during all that. She lured her fiancée out to the scene, and then Mariah presented Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) with an engagement ring and a proposal. Not surprisingly, Tessa said, “yes.”
Noah (Rory Gibson) peered in from outside and looked sad. Mariah noticed her brother and insisted he come inside to celebrate her and Tessa’s second engagement. Later, inside, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) wanted to throw an engagement party, but the women said that sounded too traditional for them.
However, Noah suggested that a listening party for Tessa’s album, a love letter to Mariah, would be ideal. The ladies agreed, and Mariah asked Noah for more help planning their wedding. Sad-faced, he split to go have drinks with “friends.”
Young and the Restless: Daddy’s Home
Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) realized keeping a baby isn’t all fun and games. The penthouse turned into Grand Central Station with the baby waking after a loud visit from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) stopped by with Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) after a date.
Although he loves Dominic, it seems like he and Amanda are getting a trial by fire — and she may not be bonding with the baby.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: While Baby’s Away…
At the Chancellor mansion, Chance (Conner Floyd) attempted to show Abby (Melissa Ordway) how fun it might be for them to have a night “off” every week. Abby participated in their special parent time, but she still seemed incredibly sad.
Adding to that, Chance received a letter from the wife of one of his men who perished in the safehouse explosion. He’s haunted, and he can’t even follow the man’s wife’s advice to stop feeling guilty. Abby thinks they can get through it, and Chance says she’s the only thing he needs, which doesn’t bode so well for Dominic…their son.
Y&R: When You Love Somebody
Oh, and here we are back with Sad Noah. He’s at the only other place in town — Society. Drinking alone. What? Tessa shows up to pick up food for herself and Mariah. She pouts and tells Noah she knows he is sad, but he wonders why he’d have any reason to be sad. When you love someone, you want them to be happy…and Noah loves his sister. Right. He said that about Mariah for sure.
