The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 25, 2022, kicks off with Victoria Newman Locke’s big lawsuit against Newman Media, Phyllis Summers wondering what her life is all about, and Michael Baldwin meeting the one and only (or not) Ashland Locke.
The Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) visited Victoria (Amelia Heinle) at Newman Locke, and she realized that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) left her brother out of the loop.
Later, The Mustache himself stopped by Vic’s office, and he had a good stare at the place where his old portrait used to hang. He growled about how he’d built his Newman legacy, but Victoria missed when he emphasized the “Newman Locke” part of the company’s current name. Then, he told his eldest daughter not to lowball him again when she made him another offer to buy Newman Media — only this time she had to include Adam in the package.
Shockingly, Adam wasn’t thrilled by all the new developments he’d been left out of, so he confronted his dad. Unfortunately for the younger Newman, Victor didn’t really care.
Young and the Restless: What Does it All Mean?
At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) realized she absolutely hates Genoa City. She let Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) in on Summer Newman Abbott’s (Hunter King) little job offer in Milan. Because Amanda now runs Phyllis’s life, she didn’t approve, and she called in reinforcements in the form of Michael (Christian Le Blanc).

Phyllis’s longtime BFF arrived to remind her of all she’d learned through her felonies and multiple misdemeanors while Amanda looked on in shock. Ultimately, “Red” decided to simply visit Summer in Milan, and maybe, hopefully, return to Genoa City in a while. Both Michael and Amanda agreed to allow it.
Y&R Spoilers Recap: Your Reputation Precedes You
Speaking of Michael, he also happened across Ashland (Richard Burgi) at Society, so he introduced himself. The lawyer flexed his legal muscles and his new status as Victor’s ace attorney, and Ashland’s spidey senses went on high alert. The men sparred verbally until Adam showed up and invited himself to join them. Shortly after, Ashland split and Michael informed Adam of his new position with Victor, which of course, Adam didn’t know.
Y&R: Power Couple
Victoria and Ashland rehashed everything their days held. They ultimately decided that nobody can beat them because they’re the greatest business minds that ever lived. However, Victoria knows her dad well enough to realize he’s up to something, but she’s not sure what it is. Ashland agreed.
