The Y&R spoilers recap for Thursday, January 20, 2022, is a day of decisions. Abby Newman-Abbott Chancellor and Chance Chancellor consult with Christine Blair Williams about their chances in court against Devon Hamilton, while Tessa Porter pops the question to Mariah Copeland, and Noah Newman decides which relative he is willing to work for.
The Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Even though Chance (Conner Floyd) kept insisting that he doesn’t feel fit to be Dominic’s father and that adding Devon (Bryton James) to the boy’s care would only benefit everybody, Abby (Melissa Ordway) insisted they had to fight. She asked Christine (Lauralee Bell), who drew up the initial contract, what their chances were in court.
Christine chose now to confess that, actually, the law is very vague in this area. After she left, Chance again reminded Abby that he is in the middle of a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder battle and he really, really thinks giving Devon a role in Dominic’s life would be best for their son. Let’s forget about going to court and just give Devon regular visitation. Abby calls Devon. Let’s talk some more!
Young and the Restless: Till Death Do Us Part
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) rented out Society so she could fill it with balloons in order to propose to Mariah (Camryn Grimes). She made a lovely, moving speech about how they forgive each other’s mistakes. (You know, like the whole blackmailing Mariah’s mother thing.) Tessa reminds Mariah that it’s time to say yes. Mariah first wants to thank Tessa for all of her support, especially through the Bowie pregnancy…and kidnapping. YES!

Noah (Rory Gibson) decides he’ll work for his dad, instead of for his grandfather and uncle. Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) warns his son against pining for Tessa. Yeah, sure, no problem, Noah says. Who’s pining?
