The Y&R spoilers recap for Friday, February 18, 2022, brings a big decision for Amanda Sinclair and Imani Benedict, and the latter notices her sister’s connection with Billy Abbott. Meanwhile, Victoria Newman Locke and Ashland Locke wonder what Victor is up to while the latter receives a shocking update from Michael Baldwin. Nate Hastings ponders Ashland’s big job offer, and Adam Newman and Sally Spectra perfect mixing business with pleasure.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) let her sister Imani (Leigh Ann Rose) know about Lily Winter’s (Christel Khalil) offer for them to work at Chancellor Industries. An astute Imani asked Amanda why she wanted to make such a big change so soon after they’d put out their own shingle for clients. Ultimately, Amanda’s answers satisfied Imani, and they went to Chancellor/Lily and Billy’s (Jason Thompson) apartment to accept the jobs.

Lily and Billy put their new legal team straight to work, and later, Imani commented on Amanda and Billy’s connection. Amanda denied they had a history, but she let her sister know that nothing was ever boring with Billy around.

Meanwhile, Lily ensured that Billy’s new plans for his own podcast wouldn’t interfere with his COO tasks. He satisfied his boss and partner that he could do it all. Okay, then.

Young and the Restless: Questions

At Society, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) expressed her surprise at Victor (Eric Braeden) accepting Sally (Courtney Hope) so readily as the COO of Newman Media. Victor expressed his confidence in Adam’s (Mark Grossman) choice. Victoria let her dad know he’d confused her. However, Adam and Sally happened to stop by for a breakfast meeting, interrupting the father and daughter, and Victoria jetted out after making some subtle jabs at Sally.

Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) continued his full-court press to get Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to leave the hospital behind and work for him (and Victoria) and Newman Locke. Victoria arrived, and Nate ducked out to go talk over the job offer with his girlfriend, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). She advised her boyfriend to think long and hard before joining the Locke Ness Monster and the Ice Queen.

Speaking of the monster and the queen, they percolated over coffee at Crimson Lights. Both Ashland and Victoria realized Victor was up to something, but neither knew quite what. However, clear ideas of what The Mustache had up his sleeve were swirling in both their minds.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Cardio

During their breakfast business meeting, Adam and Sally started feeling tired. They brought up how mid-morning cardio could help with focus later in the day at the office. So, they hit up The Grand Phoenix — where Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) banned Sally — and rented a room for a romp in the hay before getting back to business. After some adult time, Sally got Adam to tell her what Victor wants from him in spying on Ashland, and she reiterated that she got him. Sally advised her new beau to look out for number one since that’s what both Victor and Victoria always do. Adam seemed pleased.

The good news for these two, Phyllis was too busy putting her head together with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) over the mysterious text messages to notice that Adam snuck Sally into her establishment.

Y&R: Bombshell

Finally, Victor took a video call from Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc). It seems the lawyer turned investigator tracked down a disgruntled former doctor from the Peruvian clinic who was willing to talk — for a price. Victor authorized Michael to spare no expense in getting the goods on his no-good son-in-law, Ashland.
