The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 14, 2021, is about moving in, moving out, and moving on. Nate Hastings offers Elena Dawson a new living arrangement, Billy Abbott allegedly agrees with Victoria Newman Locke’s plans for the kids, and Chelsea Lawson makes her presence felt in Genoa City, first with Chloe Mitchell Fisher, then with Nikki Newman, and, finally, with Adam Newman.
Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) surprises Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) with her return and plans for their professional future. Next stop is the ranch, where Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is less than thrilled to see her and wants to know about what Chelsea is plotting… er, planning.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam (Mark Grossman) arrive and, in a strangely gracious move, the parents remove themselves so that Chelsea and Adam can talk. They are surprisingly pleasant with each other, discussing Christmas-time with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) – which means both have got to be plotting something.
Y&R Recap: Billy’s Best
Chloe warns Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about Billy’s tendency towards vengeance. She claims that while she was able to get over Adam killing Delia – after she tried to murder the man, several times – Billy (Jason Thompson) still hasn’t, and Lily should be on the lookout for that. Chloe wishes them the best, though!

At the same time, Billy is approving Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) plan to send their kids to boarding school until the end of the academic year. Only to call the principal and advise him that Johnny and Katie Abbott would only be attending until after the holidays. (The kids are spending the holidays at school? And coming home in three weeks? What a waste of time! And how confusing for the poor kids!)
Young and the Restless: Live and Let Live
Nate (Sean Dominic) invites Elena (Brytni Sarpy) to move in with him. She is confused. Does this constitute a storyline? Meanwhile, a mystery woman lurks, watching Victoria while Chloe and Chelsea are together, so it can’t be any of them.
