Traci is back in Genoa City, paying her Abbott siblings another visit.
Actress Beth Maitland and her beloved character come and go from The Young and the Restless canvas, usually appearing over the holidays or whenever her family is in turmoil and needs a dose of her love, wisdom and guidance.
Traci’s current visit is designed to mend fences between her feuding brothers Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy (Jason Thompson), a feat she’s finding to be quite a challenge. Soap Hub asked what you want to see regarding Traci’s future on the CBS soap. Here’s what fans had to say.
Stay Put
The majority of fans, 61%, adore Traci and wish she would stay put in Genoa City. She represents everything that’s good in the Abbott clan, and her siblings – particularly her brothers – need her in town.
The pair behave much better when Traci’s around, as she reminds them that they have a image to live up to: the one created by their deceased father, John. Plus, it’s always fun to see those all-girl scenes between Traci, Ashley and Abby, you’d like to see them on a regular basis.

A New Story
Traci’s a great character and that why 21% of you not only want her stay, but also get a really cool storyline of her own. You remember her years as a pivotal player on Y&R and would love to see more of them.
There are a number of directions Traci could go from becoming involved in the corporate world to brokering peace between the Abbotts and the Newmans. And you’re sure she’d enhance all of them.
