Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless? Are any of your favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the not-too-far-off future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring, or day-player roles? Are any well-remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the Y&R fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
After a quick appearance as Claire’s (Hayley Erin) Aunt Jordan last week, Colleen Zenk officially begins her terror run as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and the Newman family’s worst nightmare on Monday, November 27. The daytime vet played Barbara Ryan on As the World Turns from 1978 to 2010. Look for Zenk to have heated scenes with Eric Braeden’s Victor when their two characters go head-to-head.
Meanwhile, look for J. Eddie Peck to continue his run as Cole Howard, Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) ex-husband. Peck left the show in 1999 when Cole moved to England to become a professor at Oxford.
