Fans of The Young and the Restless (YR) desperately miss Justin Hartley as Adam since he departed to be part of the hit primetime NBC show This Is Us.
Many longtime Y&R fans hold out hope that Hartley will return, bringing the beloved Newman brother back to Genoa City.
While he’s not returning to Y&R at this time, Hartley did land an incredibly exciting new gig recently, according to Soap Opera Digest!
He will give his fans a sexy Christmas gift this year when he appears in a Bad Moms sequel called Bad Moms Christmas. The film hits theaters on November 3 (make your girls night out plans NOW).
In the highly anticipated new film, the former GC bad boy turned good will play Ty Swindle. The character is a fit and handsome firefighter by day who works as an erotic dancer by night. (We could TOTALLY see that.)
Hartley joins the cast’s original stars Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn along with Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. On his Twitter account, Hartley confirmed the news and added his excitement about joining the amazing cast! Y&R star, Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) also tweeted out her congratulations at the amazing news her former GC love interest revealed.
Did you see the original Bad Moms movie? Are you excited to hear that this former daytime heartthrob appears in such a fun role in Bad Moms Christmas?
